The BGB can fire anything that can be triggered by a generic USB keyboard (like Cue Lab) or with a USB MIDI interface. If it is triggered by the space bar, you’re good to go. If it’s triggered by another key or key combination, you can program the button(s) easily with this guide!

Some systems the BGB has been used on include EOS, Hog, Cue Lab, Keynote, and Watchout to name a few.

The Better Go Button talks to your console in the same way a keyboard does. When you activate the button, the LED flashes and it sends a key, key combo, or MIDI to the console.

The BGB can be modified to send whatever keys or MIDI you would like. A common need is for it to send a specific macro.

Yes, you can. If you have the older V1 firmware and would like to update to the current version in order to customize your BGB, please get in touch with me for instructions on how to do this.

I’m not a doctor however I find that it’s best not to sit still for too long. The Better Go Button allows you to change positions or customize your workspace in the way that’s best for you.

It comes with a 6 foot cable. However, I have successfully tested it on a 16 foot unpowered USB cable. That said, I do believe that cable quality makes a difference. I’ve heard tell of longer cables working but have not seen this in person.
